Ardesia Coco (Catania, Italy, 1990) studied Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania and in 2018 she obtained an MA Degree in Photography for Cultural Heritage at the ISIA of Urbino. During her studies, she atten- ded workshops led by photographers and artists, such as Mario Cresci, Jason Fulford and Stefano Graziani. With her training she has had the opportunity to deepen the topics related to the aesthetics and perception of the landscape, being interested in authors who have addressed this topics in different areas, such as Luigi Ghirri, Rosario Assunto, John Berger. In 2019 she specialized in the use, developing of film and in the creation of direct prints from color and B/W negative collaborating with a fine art darkroom laboratory close to Milan.
